We're going in to record with Darron Burke in November – our goal is to do as much as we can in two days (read: cheap bastards). Slated for EP release. Proposed song list: Counting Game, Multiplicity, Silver Foil Redux, Too Much Air. We're excited about recording, and Mr. Burke has more friends than us on Myspace so you know he's got to be good! Anyway, we're hoping he can help us get some nice sounds which we'll than take back to our "studio" and fuck up properly. We'll let you know how it goes.
I think we're playing an art fair in Tampa '08 in support of/in the guise of The Resurrectionists. More to come.
Other news:
Our last recorded song, Silver Foil, is now on our Myspace page. I think we're going to rework with Darron so it's essentially a demo. Last.fm also has some TNY stuff now.
In October 06 we created a sound piece for Ted's work, The Resurrectionists. Our piece accompanies the video. The work was shown at at MoMA PS1 and Nicole Klagsbrun. You can hear the music here and watch the raw video footage here. You can read a review of the piece in the October '07 print issue of Art in America.
